I’d never do that, even if I just deep cleaned my sink.
sink is steel, just like the pot you just used to cook the pasta, if it’s clean it’s clean. if in doubt rinse the pasta.
It’s less about how clean it actually is and more about how I feel about it. Same way that I wouldn’t eat anything that fell into a brand new unused toilet. Like, it’s clean, but… nah.
