Same for me as well. Voyager and lemmy instances are what filled that immediate reddit void for me.

Prohibition of anything doesn’t really work.
Yeah I’m learning that any social media just isn’t worth it.
Sort of, but I lose the history on this account and have to start over. All of my saved posts won’t come, so I have to manually comb through and save what I want to save. I guess shame on me for diving into such a new and underdeveloped platform but damn.
I’ve been around just as long and definitely didn’t see more than the 1 round so I’m not sure how I missed the other posts. Doesn’t matter now I guess.
I only saw that asked once, and from what I saw they got volunteers at the time.
I don’t think this is correct. I’m on lemmee and I’m probably just done at this point. I don’t have the energy to migrate to another instance and set things up just to have that instance close up shop again later.

2 years ago I chose lemm.ee because I was worried about the popularity of .world and whether they would be able to survive that or not.
Turns out I was very wrong and you all have done fine while I am faced with the very situation I was trying to avoid.
