Yah, I mean a disaster agency running death camps was always farfetched. OTOH we have clear precedent of the US gov running death camps vis-a-vis the Native American reservations, Japanese-American concentration camps, the shit they did in the Philippines…Ironically, it actually isn’t super crazy to think that the US would put you in a death camp if they decided you were the ‘wrong’ minority (waves hands at current events).
