It is sensitive subject, but dont act like it is something everybody everywhere are familiar with it.

For example i was something like 14 or 15 years old when i saw somebody with differend colour skin for the first time (outside of tv). You can use mental gymnastics as much as you want about base load of electric grid or stabilising the load or what ever, but it does not change the fact that when you use AI it uses energy that would not be used othewise.

Saying that it does not matter if the generator powers your AI waifu or something else is just moronic. I can also say that leaving my tv on or not shutting my lights when leaving the house effects jack all in the global sense, but that is not reason to not shut those down when i leave my apartment.
