It’s much the same. Lemmy and PieFed talk to each other no worries.
It does all the same things but has some additional features as well. The killer feature for me is merging duplicate posts so you only see them once but with all the comments from the different groups stacked underneath.
5·1 day agoManaged to not do my homework for a few months. Whatever check sheet the teacher used must have had my name in such a way she didn’t notice the empty row, until the day she did. ‘and the week before that, and the week before that’ getting progressively louder.
I prefer to see both numbers rather than the sum. The variance sort of gives a ‘controversial’ score. Can’t get that with PieFed yet, but I prefer the deduplication of PieFed over the split scores on Voyager.
I’ve done it a few times over the years. Usually it’s because I’ve written something I thought was funny or insightful but the hive mind disagreed and voted it down or worse. Sometimes I just don’t fit into the social norms.
19·2 days agoI think PieFed gives reputation warning icons for entities it thinks are statistically bad actors.
2·3 days agoVoyager. Most similar to RiF (RIP.) Hopefully they add Piefed compatibility soon as my I’m mostly using the PieFed PWA these days. Interstellar may get good enough soon but at present it’s really jumpy when scrolling on my phone…
Is a hury like a Huey from Short Circuit 1, but with an accent?
… And now on the PWA the username it shows is my new one, and all comments visible. I think Interstellar needs more work.
Just trying interstellar on PieFed. Says 119 comments but only see four. Also not sure what profile name it’ll use as I have two on one email address. (edit - it picked my old one.)
No case. Dropped and cracked my screen after 15 months. Ordered a new screen on mobilehq and will install next week. I prefer the lightness and the soft back of my g84.
Very tasty compared to the blue default :)
