      Well it’s comedy (even if you don’t agree, thats what he’s going for).

      And ai is commonly used as a catchall term for any program doing some kind of automation.

        What’s the old sense? A program? “AI” didn’t exist in the old days and it doesn’t exist now.

        The logic here is like 3 lines of code maybe? The ubiquity of “AI” grifting has made language meaningless.

          Yeah, AI was totally never used to describe the logic behind NPC actions as far back as the Atari days.

          “AI” has existed since the 70s in terms of computing. In terms of the theory, much further back.

            It was actually the 50s, commonly attributed to John McCarthy.
