I admit that i am closer to the “AI bad” movement than not but curiosity wins anyway, i would be very happy to give it a try

Interesting, can’t say i do the same but I’m curious about what you like about it. I usually want to be surprised by the music that i listen to (in both a good and bad way), then use the albums as lockets with specific vibes/memories/styles which differ greatly from each other, and i feel like with AI i would lose it.
I absolutely love how you talk about music, and i 100% agree that when you find a good song you have to take your time to appreciate it
I worded it weirdly, art and content are basically the same thing, what changes is your perception of it, it’s up to you to decide if it’s something caring more about it, made by passionate people or just sound with cool patters that makes our brain feel good. (Maybe still a weird explanation)
Totally agree with the therapeutic function of music, hope you’re doing better <3
The more i think about it the more i realize that it’s actually a really weak assumption. It just felt weird to me that you could have a routine that didn’t include music in it, totally mb

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How many virtual machines can you nest?
2·28 days agoUnfortunately i don’t think my little laptop could handle more than 2, maybe 3 layers deep, making my efforts of little relevance to an actual study about the problem

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's the most impressive video game mod you've ever come across?
7·1 month agoStrawberry jam for celeste. It’s a huge collaborative project that introduces 100+ levels (base game has 25) with a really wide range of difficulties, graphical styles, new mechanics, original music and ideas on par with the quality from the base game. Definitely a must play if you like 2d platformers

I would be curious about how today’s discovery is worse that the past, considering that you can access huge catalogues for free and that forums exist. And generalising all new music just doesn’t make sense to me, you should give it an honest try and maybe start enjoying music again
